🚒 Swap / Stand-In Interest Portal
Use this page to post your interest in giving up or covering shifts. This portal is for coordination only — all official swaps must still be requested and approved through the department’s official system and chain of command.
Quick Overview
- Post Swap Interest: Share the dates/times you need coverage or are available to cover.
- Remove My Interest: Take down your posting once you’ve arranged coverage or no longer need a swap.
- View Interest List: Opens the live spreadsheet showing all current interest entries.
- Live Swap Interest Calendar: Shows interest postings on a calendar so members can see who needs what days.
⚠️ Important: This portal does NOT create an official swap. After you find someone to trade with, you must still submit the swap through the department’s official swap/approval system and obtain Battalion approval as required.
📘 Detailed How-To (tap to expand)
- Post Your Interest
- Click Post Swap Interest.
- Enter the date(s) and hours you need covered or can cover.
- Your interest will appear on the Interest List sheet and the calendar.
- Find Potential Trades
- Use View Interest List to see all postings in a table.
- Use the Live Swap Interest Calendar to see openings by date.
- Contact members directly to work out a possible trade.
- After You Arrange a Swap
- Click Remove My Interest to clean up your posting.
- Submit the swap for official approval in the department system (per policy).

This calendar shows interest only — not approved swaps. Official swaps must still be processed through the department’s approved system.
